Valentine's Day Giveaway

I can't believe it's that time again. Time for the annual Valentine's Day Giveaway. Last year's contest was CRAZY!!!! I can't believe how many votes came in. The winners were Jessica and Nick. Check out their video below. I had such a fun time getting to know them, their families, and their friends from the beginning of voting, thru their wedding day. Their father even mentioned me in his speech at the reception Below is what Jessica's mom had to say about the contest:

"I have to say that the Valentine's Day contest stands out as one of the highlights of Jessica and Nick's pre-wedding memories! Once chosen as finalists the voting was so fun! We were hearing from friends we hadn't been in contact with since Jessica and Nick were just little kids! Wow!! That comment pretty much left me speechless. It was an honor to work with such a wonderful family. I have been reading this year's entries and they are pretty awesome. You have until February 9th ( my brother's bday!) to enter. Voting will begin on the 10th, and will run thru Valentine's Day. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter. Congrats Eva and Matt!! Eva is the older sister of Lizzy Blase, who was married just two weeks prior. I love photographing sibling weddings! The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Michael Church in Worthington, OH. The reception followed at the Villa Milano. I love the fact that everyone was willing to head outside in the freezing cold and snow for some photos. I think it was worth it!!

The Show

Here are some pics from my visit to the bridal show last weekend. All of my favorite wedding vendors are in one place, so it's a great time to say hello to everyone. The weather was beautiful, and it appeared that tons of brides were there. Last year there was a terrible snow storm that weekend, so attendance had to be up this year.
